. . . when you not sure what you are allergic too!

I am getting the distinct impression that something at my job is causing me to breakout in red hive-like whelps. IT is also affecting my joints [PAIN!]

I cannot determine what it is . . . .Dunno if I need to where a mouth filter or wear long sleeves.

It is a manufacturing plant and it seems like it is seasonal
like they just recently changed something in the mix

If I goto the Allergist - I don't even know how to start to describe the environmental factors. [I dunno any of the chemicals being used around here]

Never had allergies before and well . . .this sucks

Been taking Zertec - it helps. Some Ibuprofen.

Why not go to the Dr. and have an allergy test done with all of the tiny needles?

Have you tried taking Zyrtec? You can get mass quantities on Amazon or at Sams Club for cheap.

Sounds like the building, a surgical mask, long sleeves, gloves could help if you dont mind wearing all that stuff.

Austin is allergy central. Something that helps knock down the symptoms for me is an nasal spray, Flonase. It coats the nasal passages with a long lasting substance than blocks a lot of the allergens from entering your system. Takes a couple of weeks to get the full benefit, IMO, but worth getting. You'll need to get a scrip from a doctor, which shouldn't be a problem. And good luck!

I have just the thing for this in the center console of my car -- a .45.
