Throughout the season, numerous sources said the Rockets will make offers to Bynum and Howard. The question is... how highly do they value Bynum? Will they consider doing a sign-and-trade with Philadelphia for Asik?

He can't even run up and down the court. His knees would collapse at the pace we pay. Vet min.

Whatever it is it needs to have a bunch of injury clauses, I am not dealing with another Yao/T-Mac scenario.

    This.

Why the heck would you offer money to a guy who is basically the same as Asik on a good day?

Only would do it if we had team options and injury clauses on that.

Bynum messed up his rep in the NBA. He won't be getting max money anytime soon.

I say we give him the same deal as Asik with more incentives. Have them split time till (ideally) Bynum steps up and can trade Asik and some pieces for a solid PF.

I'd take a healthy Bynum over a healthy Howard.

    That is all...

Knowing how the rockets don't pay market value to players that deserve it and overpay players undeserving to get some name out there I think they will throw 12 mil at him.

There probably won't ever be a healthy Bynum.

Yeah, sounds about right. I mean, Philly traded their best player and two amazing prospects to get their hands on Bynum, and he repaid them by aggravating his leg injury by going bowling and sitting on his ass the entire season.

The least we can do is bail them out of their misery by trading our own underpaid C so Bynum can mooch off of us instead

Seriously, has there ever been an injury prone big man who magically became healthy once he got signed to a long term deal? Not only that, what makes Bynum so good anyway? I coudl understand if he has Howard's resume, but Bynum hasn't been able to do anything because he spends every year wearing a suit instead of playing on the court. He's not even a good fit for the team, last thing Bynum needs is to go on a run-and-gun team.

We will pay Bynum 3 million a year once he signs a contract option that his payment is void if he goes to a bowling alley

Where is the 'we don't want him' option?

I don't want to tie up much cap space at all to an unhealthy player when we already have a very good center in Asik. When he was healthy, I would have been all for Bynum, but not now

    I don't want Dwight either
