I'm curious to know if anyone would think he's worth big bucks now.

After D12 becomes a free agent, what do you think most teams would offer him at this point?

He's clearly not focused, motivated, fully healthy and giving his his best effort right now.

    BUT

He'll turn it up after the break and make his presence felt in the playoffs.
It's clear he's just coasting and going thru the motions right now. If the next game was game 7 of the Finals I'm sure he'd go out there and find a way to score 20, grab 15 boards and block 3 shots. However, it's not game 7 of the finals and we're talking about Dwight. He's not hungry right now. He doesn't have that killer instinct/desire/never lose attitude/thirst to win every game.

20m is the going rate for borderline allstar players in today's market. Nothing insane about it.

If Kanter can get 70M/4yrs, Dwight can easily get 60M/3yrs.

Depends if he doesn't get injured , depends if he's willing to sign in any team, and depends most of all on the length of hsi contract.

IF he's willing to sign with any team even mid and small market teams, if he doesn't get injured and if he's willing to get a 3+1 t.o then maybe 28 per.

    The Max.

Enes Kanter got the Max and he plays 20 minutes a game, with Hardenesque commitment to defense and rebounding...as a center.

But Kanter's max and Dwight's max are very different because of the salary cap rising and Dwight's tenure. Isn't Dwight's next max like 30+ mil? Do you think a team would really pay that much for him?

They would pay him the max if it was for 2 years +1.
Because in two years 25 million dollars will be the max for rookies. For example if Beal was born one year later he would get 25 million dollars as his rookie max and he has broken feet.

hope he stays with the rockets for 10m/yr. Sure he can get his 20 somewhere else but settle for less gives him a better chance at winning

Who cares what the next team is going to pay him? That's their problem.

D12 will get at least a 23M contract for 4 years. Sad but true - but if we dont pay him someone will even in a decline like this. His rotations and presence are worth that to teams

Too much. Good luck to the next team paying him.

Duncan at $5M, Dirk at $8.3M >>>>>>>> Dwight at $20M/$25M/$30M
