Lin should get tapes of the 8 games with NY last year and watch

Being optimistic when I say he'll go for 30+ in points with double digit assists and a couple steals/rebounds. Hope this game will be his coming out party, but I'll settle for at least 15 points with 7-10 assists

NY has one of the best defenses in the league right now, with one of the highest forced opposition TO rates and lowest team TO's per game.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Rockets end up with more than 20 TO's.

As for Lin, it's hard to say. He's been having shooting issues, on the other hand, the thing about slumps is you never know when someone is going to get out of their slump.

Still, Lin has a habit of stepping it up on big stages, so I wouldn't be shocked if he has a very good game. I also wouldn't be shocked if his game was average or below average to poor.

I doubt the Rockets win. The Knicks are 8-1 and have beaten Miami and SAS, and their roster is one of the most experienced (and oldest) in the league.

    Will be interesting either way.

    I hope he does well.
But realistically, 2-13 with 5 TOs

Well... Melo, JR, Felton, and likely Kidd will all be gunning to embarrass Lin in this game. So I'm gonna guess "other" - max 10 pts. Lots of turnovers.

I'm not seeing mental fortitude from the kid right now (and going by the game thread for CHI game, looks like he's down on himself a bit). I hope he can gut this out. If he can somehow psych himself into having a good game, it'd be nice. Break out of this current slump against the Knicks? That'd be nice. That said, don't really see it happening.

I hope he doesn't take many more weeks/months to break out of his slump.. But his confidence looks completely shot. Sampson sure doesn't trust him.

Stop it...just stop it! We need a team win, not personal stats. If Lin plays with personal stats in his mind he won't have a good game.

And I pray to God that he won't get hard fouled by JR Smith. I sense a flagrant 2 coming....

I am actually more excited to see how Asik plays against DPOY Chandler. He hasn't been playing very well this season & I think Omer will really step it up. Agreed with you Arthur Sampson doesn't trust him.

Sampson is on that Douglas button so quick that I am worried. Douglas will bite you in the ass more than he helps....

Knicks PG's are gonna play tight full court pressure all game, they'll want to embarrass him the same way Miami did.

I'm sure Jeremy knows that, and I hope for his sake, he's motivated instead of scared.

Lol, yeah, wow! I think he could have a really bad game, I would imagine that these knicks players have a vendetta against the kid, because they're always asked about him (Felton especially).

If Lin is fired up, maybe something solid like 12 points 9 assists 5 rebs?

But more likely will be something like 7 Points 6 assists 2 rebs...

If Lin can't get up for this game, he needs help.

I think he will have his season high in points and assists in this game.
