I was 7 when we won the last title. My dad won tickets from his old company to go and watch game 3 at the Summit. Been bleeding Rockets red ever since!

I was 7 and 8. Too late to the party to enjoy the repeat years but became a serious fan just got in time to see Stockton drill the game-winner:(

I was 8 at the time of our last championship in 1995. My uncles were diehard Hakeem fans. They got me into watching the Rockets when I was 5. They even went through the trouble of explaining the significance of Phi Slamma Jamma. I was hooked immediately. Mad Max was my favorite player -- so freaking cool back in the day.

I was 13 during the '80-'81 finals. Didn't pay much attention to the NBA prior to that. That finals is what got me going.

I was 20-21. Great times. I was old enough to be hammered on Richmond while people were out with their brooms sweeping the street. Haha.

I was 18. I burned out my car horn honking it while driving in the celebration down Richmond! GREAT time. Made me a Rockets fan for life. Hoping this can be the year. (fingers crossed)

    Yeah, they're both awesome dudes.

They were immigrants who came to the US in the early 80's and moved to Houston where they fell in love with basketball watching Hakeem and the Cougars. Then, they naturally progressed to the NBA and the Rockets following Hakeem's career all the way.

I picked up basketball just being around them and their diehard passion was infectious. Plus, they would play ball with my cousins and I on their driveway hoop. One day, my uncle taught me the Dream Shake and life was never the same!

Go buy those Uncle's of yours some beers and tell them how grateful you are that they did that for you.

I was born on one of the playoff victories in 1994...needless to say, I didn't get a chance to experience the glory of it all. Hoping this year will be my first.

I just moved to Austin and wasn’t a rockets fan. Was a nugget fan. Still remember that nuggets sonic series. You’re welcome.

My Mom was pregnant with me for the 1994 championships, and I was less than a year old for '95.
