i have no idea. it's about the hours I bill...not the hours I work. there's a lot of work I do that isn't billable time. i don't keep track of it very well.
that's what happens when you have your own office. personnel issues...business development...finance issues...technology issues...and on and on.
It used to be up around 75. I've been gradually trying to reduce that to under 50 on average. I'm probably in the mid-60 range at the moment.
I think you need your daydreamers and your hard workers. I'm a daydreamer. The type of person who tries to come with ideas. We barely work. I'd say your lucky if you get 50% production out of us. Most of our time is spent coming up with the next big idea. Once we do, it's the hard workers that take that idea and run with it. Sometimes they work so hard they actually come up with their own new ideas. I think both play a role. But I oft think the daydreamers are on the short side of the equation and wish more people would sit around and focus on their imagination. Everyone, in my opinion, is capable of at least one big idea by the end of their lifetime. They only need to take the time to sit and think about it.
Hmmm....I work about 20 hours a week....but I get paid usually for around 45 hours. I work in I.T., web infrastructure support.
I think I speak for the hard workers when I call you a hippie, hippie. I used to work 50+ hours a week. Now I'm down to 40 and loving it. My free time with my family is worth more to me than a few extra dollars on the paycheck.
For the past few months I had been working about 75-100 hrs/week. The past couple of paychecks I've been averaging about 55-60. It's about to go up again. Yipeeeeee. I work in the computer/software field.
