I've made 1 or 2 threads that weren't all that, but this thread and others like it are a burden on CF. This used to be the most knowledgeable webpage for Rockets fans. Now it has turned into a bunch of newbies who have never watched the Rockets before Lin. They just make useless threads that require no thought. Clutch, if you hear me, we should make a rule to where you can only make a thread after 1 or two years of being a ClutchFan member. This is just getting to be a pain in the ass with all these "know it all" little brats that are flooding this once great board with idiotic and obnoxious posts.

This is pretty silly. Watching all of his games doesn't make you more knowledgeable than anybody else.

Playing a long with you though. I watched him play in SL against the Mavericks was impressed. Followed him a little on occasion in GSW but he rarely played. When he was picked up by the Rockets I watched him in pre-season. When he went to NY I was stoked because my BF is a Knick fan and I hoped they would keep him. I actually watched one of his D-League games just prior to his break out & he was dominating so I wasn't to surprised by what he did last year because I saw him do it in the D-league a few days before.

I have been watching Knick games with my BF for about 3 years now I still do & I am also a big Raptors fan & have been a fan for a few years now. I watched Dragic's stretch of games last year as a starter & I also watch the Spurs, OKC, LAL & LAC.

As you can tell I prefer watching WCF as opposed to ECF teams.

Yes. I remember there's a thread here about that pick and Lin's performance.

I watched every game and have a bunch still saved on my DVR. Let me know if anyone has any questions.

What's the point of this thread? :)

I imagine that some Rockets fans did watch Lin's Knicks games, simply because of the natural interest he would generate having been cut from the Rockets and then blowing up.

Or some did because they follow a lot of basketball, and it was a big story.

Or some didn't, because they don't care.

    So what?

The Dream was awesome. Sadly, post up play is a long lost art with today's clumsy Bigs. Folks see a big guy dunk and think that they're "good".

And I do miss the more physical play of times past... though I'm not one of those old geezers that will constantly whine about it.

I grew during the Bird/Dr.J rivalry... it was then that I started to fall in love with the game. I remember playing Bird and Dr.J one on one on my Apple 2 computer for hours... break the backboard baby!

    Guess I'm dating myself :p

I forgot to say I remember watching this game and thought it was great that Spike Lee was going at it with the Philly fans and Will Smith.

I think that video above is probably what we are going to see with Lin, where he's trying to get his teammates involved and attacking the paint. He also came through in the 4th. Hopefully he can get his jump shot and a floater going so he doesn't have to rely on driving and possibly colliding with bigger players all the time, i.e.

I think I watched 3-4 of his games all the way through. Saw parts of probably a few more games. It was enough.

I saw a game or two. Linsanity really fizzled down the stretch with the Knickerbockers. If he still played incredibly I still wouldn't have watched him intently. I don't watch Knickerbockers games.

Have been intrigued at how an Asian American guard has been doing so well in the NBA. I saw him once in college and thought I just witnessed the second coming of Jason Kidd. He was triple teamed but dominated the game without scoring.

I actually first noticed him in Nba 2k and then looked him up on youtube. THis was his rookie year with the golden state warriors. I always thought he looked good out there and never understood why teams didn't want him. I saw about 2 knick games (1 live at the garden) and just a bunch of highlights from EPSN.
