How many games can Rockets win this season? At 24-4, the Rockets are on pace win 70 games. http://bkref.com/tiny/f4lIB
I say 65-67 games assuming neither Harden nor CP3 go down with an injury that causes them to miss some serious time we’re 24-4, and it got me thinking...it still amazes me how last year’s team was 31-9 at 1 point
If neither Harden nor CP3 go down, I feel Rockets can win 70 games. They are playing much better after Paul returned, and are destroying teams left and right. They are favored to win every single game of the season!
We got some tough back to backs road games coming up. Boston and Washington and then Orlando and the Warriors less then 24 hours . This is all in a space of a week. Anyway i got us wining 62 to 65 range.
Barring a major injury, 60 should be pretty easy to reach at this point. They'd only have to win two-thirds of the rest of their games (36-18) to reach that. So I think they'l do slightly better, somewhere in the 63-67 range. Where they ultimately end up will likely depend on two factors: 1. The health of the key rotation guys, primarily Harden and Paul 2. How attainable the No. 1 seed is If the Rockets are close to the top seed at the end of the season, I think they'll go for it. If they're multiple games out, I could see them taking it easy and getting some guys rest down the stretch to settle into the No. 2 spot.
I am honestly happy we doing so well I am ready for the playoffs. . . I just want those 4-4-4-4s in the playoffs Rocket River
I don't care. As long as Harden/Ariza is averaging 34 mpg, CP3 is averaging 32-33 mpg, everyone else is averaging 27-32 mpg, Harden's leg is fully healed, Luc is back, and Nene is healthy. Hopefully 1st seed. Winning 70 games really doesn't matter, all about the playoffs. My prediction? 68 games.
Don´t really like to talk about this. One game at a time. But it would be foolish to deny this has been a fixture on my calculations since last week. I think we should aim to break our record. And I think we will get around 62 wins.
Seriously, we are on pace to 71 wins. This team is different from last season's in that we are beating good teams as well as bad teams. Last season, we beat what we should beat but struggle against good teams. So 70 wins is very attainable, the way we are playing. I predict that we are pretty unbeatable on the road. If Ryno fixes his home shooting, then look out, we may flirt with the record book.
