I still watch...stopped spending money on anything texans related tho.

Honestly cant believe out of 13 years, we've only been to the playoffs twice

Only 4 winning seasons overall out of 13. Thats lousy.

 

Not so bad if you subtract the obvious expansion years where they were never going to compete (where it actually made the team worse long-term than better... similar to what has also plagued the new Browns).

This is the first regime that didn't have to start over... not looking good early though.

I was in a weird spot, I started Freeman. It sucked that he was slicing up the Texans defense like they were a middle school B team, but I'm going to win this week....

 

Deandre still got me 15 points with all of his drops

 

I had Freeman in almost all of my draft kings games. Houstons defense may be the most overrated defense in football. Horrible dbs, easy to confuse linebackers.

The rest I could care less about. I'm still sticking to 5 wins max. I just hope they get a qb in the first round. But then again I won't be getting my hopes up.

Same here. It might be a silver lining to the Texans playing poorly, perhaps a lot of them well go elsewhere. The conversation would be a lot better if that happened.

 

This is exactly why the NFL works so different than other sports like NBA and MLB.

There are more terrible management teams in NFL comparing to other major sports, because this sport is so unique, so popular and so powerful on resources, once you have a team, your revenue is basically guaranteed is most situation, you really don't need to give a fork.

That's why you have the joke franchises like the Bengals in the last decade, the Browns, the late Mike Davis Raiders, and of course, the most famous of all, your Jerry Jones Cowboys.

The ownership and management of those teams are a complete joke compare to the modern sport management standard.

 

You know what's worse than watching the Texans every Sunday? Not having a team at all. The years between the Oilers and the Texans were terrible. I'm a native Houstonian, so I will always watch and support any team from Houston.

Some people are fair weather fans. I am not.
