    Because the NFL is the most popular THING this country has... and its still growing (at least judging by the amount of freaking fan duel/draftkings ads that currently run everyday... basically gamblers found a loophole).

    I've been to a Rockets games and Astro. I've yet to attend a Texans game, and I don't think I will be anytime soon.

    They could suck for the rest of my life and I'll still support them because they are my team. Just like I would the Astros and Rockets and UH (and to a much lesser extent, the Dynamo)

    The coaching staff & management are incompetent. They never address the weakness of this team. The management, coaching staff and owners think Foster and JJ watt alone is enough to win it all. The coaching staff can't seem to figure what they are doing. Bill O'Brien doesn't know what the hell he's doing and instead, thinks telling the players to play hard and make plays is enough.

    I never been so frustrated with this team. They seem to take one step forward and two steps back. They never seem to make smart draft picks. Almost all picks outside the 1st round are bust. They can't seem to get it right. They need to fire all management and find someone who knows wth they are doing.

    You got to go thru the grind with the team so that when they do win its that much sweeter...

    I'm an Astros fan for life and they have only won 3 playoff series in 50 years... But when they play tonight to try and win the division it makes all those years worth it.

    If you have been a fan since the Houston 2002s then I can't see why you would quit being a fan now. Getting through the first decade of disappointment was a trial and doesn't really compare to now.

    @UHCougarFB is 100-70 (.588) in same time period, 4-0 this year
