I think the more important question is what are you going to do with your user id once the Rockets move out? Keep it? :)

As for the years as a fan.. since I was 9. Which I guess would be about 23 years.

I was lucky enough to start watching the Rockets during the '92-'93 season, when they took Seattle to a tough seven games.

    The next two years...incredible.

The only regret i have is that I lacked the proper perspective of a long-suffering Rockets fan and only had to wait one season for great success. Talk about instant gratification.

But I take some measure of pride that I became a fan over a year before the first championship.

15-0 and 22-1 in 1993 was simply unbelievable!!!

I have been a fan for about 12 or so years. I remember back in the days when I went on vacation to NY in '90 and the Rocks had a game vs. Portland. I was hopeing to watch the game because I thought it was Portland, Maine instead of Oregon. Man do I feel dumb. I still remember the days of Buck Johnson, the prime of Sleepy Floyd, and Mitchell Wiggens. I even remember Maxwell's first game as a Rocket and he was a steal from the Spurs for cash. I even have the Bulls/Rocks game from 3/25/91 where they had a 13 (I think) game winning streak and then lost the following game. The streak marked the 13 games after Hakeem came back from the eye injury he suffered from Bill Cartwright. Thats as old school as I can remember.

I've been a fan since the 95-96 season. I'm still mad that i was too young to enjoy the championship years, but I have a feeling some more will be coming fairly soon:D ;)

Although they havn't won a championship since I've been following them, I have witnessed some great moments. My fav would have to be Eddie Johnson's 3 against Utah to win it...

...but I still hate John friggin Stockton for hitting that 3 to eliminate us

1979 - i was laid up with a shoulder injury that fall and decided to watch the Rockets play some bball one day(nothing better to do!).

Between the Rockets making the playoffs and Phi Slamma Jamma going national I have been watching ever since.

became a Rocket fan back during the playoffs of 81. I had watched some Rocket games back as far as the 79-80 season when Rick Barry played w/us. But it was during that magical playoff run when I got addicted to the Rockets.

I've been in the game since 84 even though I was only 5. First team I really ever watched and got hooked. The rest is history.

LOL! No kidding man. That season was painful. How the hell you became a fan during that season I don't know. Was it out of pity because they didn't have any other fans?!

I guess you could probably ask me the same question Dr of Dunk. I am going to keep my name, what the hell the Rockets have alot of great memories in The Summit. Anyway, I have been a fan as long as I can remember, which I was about 7, so that would make it 13 years.
