How long before Terrence Jones promoted, D-mo D-moted?

You are right... he had games that were good to very good...not solid

It's no secret ... Everyone looks good in garbage time minutes. Scoring points and grabbing rebounds when the game is already over doesn't translate to tight games or even playoff games..

 

Why do we draft so many PF and then trade for even more PFs?

More accurate to say Terrence Jones has been nothing this year.

 

I don't think Jones is in long term plans if the Rockets. This is just based on rumor here and there and his playing time. I expect he will be traded in the offseason.

It actually is surprising to me. He looks the part of an NBA PF.

 

So a rookie that struggles with the starting gig after basically not playing all year, needs to get demoted because he's struggled.

Its too late for all that now. idk why he didn't get a chance to play earlier in the season since hes done really well when he does play in DL. It has to be something why the coaching staff didn't give him a chance that we don't know.

 

You can look at it the same way for Jones. People keep bringing up how "horrible" he played at the "beginning" of the season. So just because he didnt light it up in his first couple NBA games he doesnt deserve to play at all with the team this season? TRob didnt do well in Sac Town and he didnt even have to go to the DLeague. He was given rotation minutes.

Jones has been down there pretty much all season and has had very good games before the injury and great ones after. Who knows maybe the offense and defense has clicked and he understands now. He has the better range out of all the PF's and can grab boards and pay defense while having a high motor. I have a feeling him and Harden can work perfectly together especially on pick and rolls. He should be called up I agree with the OP.

A guy advocating for a risky line-up change in the the last ten games of a playoff push, accusing another guy of not following basketball.

 

tru, tru the kid has talent... should of probably started before Mr. Frail D-mo. Since when did D-mo do so much to earn the starting spot? A couple of hot practices... lol yea right? Its open season with the youth we have at that position so why not give the guy a shot. Just about every kid who did well in the summer league that's seeing the floor this year is playing average or ahead of schedule in the league ross, beal, lillard, drummond, draymond, waiters, barnes, kidd, henson, harkless, nicholson, sullinger, even jenkins. T.rob actually under performed the whole summer league against scrubs while t.jones lead the ranks night after night so why would he deserve minutes before our first round draft pick? Seems like favorable rotations because I don't see why t.jones would be such an exception if he can ball.

 

Considering our lack of production at the PF position I would be all for it. I see no reason why Jones would produce at an inferior rate to the likes of Robinson.
