    Interesting. Was never that interested but will check them out! I like good country in the rare cases it can be found this century.

    Was and continue to be a big fan of the Dixie Chicks. While some complain their music was too "pop" I always appreciate the sheer musicality of many of their songs. One of their dopiest songs was one of my favorites (Goodbye Earl). And while a previous poster crushed on Emily Robinson (and yea, she was and still is beautiful), I was always in love with the blonde twin (Martie Maguire).

    I think this is the song I was referring to. Check out the banjo and fiddle solos - not to mention the perfect 3-part vocal harmonies. Say what you want, but these girls can PLAY...

    Yes! Thanks for reminding me about Sin Wagon. Mattress dancing... such a great verse. And agreed, great performances on banjo and especially fiddle.

    Speaking of three part harmonies... they were a one hit wonder, but Wilson Phillips killed on Hold On... 'course, it was in their genes.
