He was 1 for 5 which is 20%

His career 3 pt percentage is 20%

    So I'd say he's good for 20%

People forgot how good a mid range shooter yao is in his rookie year. I still recall his 28pts 13rbs game against Duncan&Robinson that year. Yao shoots face up jump shots lights out, and Duncan admitted he's tried as hard as possible to put a hand in yao's face.

It's JVG who forced yao to almost totally abandon his midrange game. Yao used to be accurate, agile and quick under Rudy T...sigh.

Ha. I thought it was funny last night seeing Paul trying to post up AB. That's gotta be the smallest post up pair you'll ever see. AB is also probably the only person Paul can post up successfully.

Didn't look like he was putting much effort into it.

haha you're wrong. I distinctly remember one of yao's 3 pt attemp is a long heave from the defensive side. so it makes yao's effective 3pt % to be at least 2-9: 22% :D

Anybody could get better at shooting the 3s given enough practice. I don't think it should be part of his game though. Just too good of a post player to be camping outside of 3 point line.

    Won't mind seeing a 3 ball from Yao once a while. :)
