How good is Terrence Jones on defense?

    I'm really late on this thread, so my point has probably been said.

    I was really impressed with his improvement on defense last season. Many people pegged him as a good defender in 2013-14 because he got a lot of blocks, but most of those were weakside blocks from behind (good reaction by Jones, but created by Dwight/Asik being the real enforcers). Last year he came into his own. His one-on-one defense improved tenfold. He'd still get destroyed somewhat similar to how Aldridge handled him in the playoffs, but against a solid offensive player, he can hold his own now without needing help.

    Jones is horrendous on rotations. At getting out on the rotation to guard the three point shot, at making the rotation on the opponents center when Howard/DMo has to contest a drive into the paint, at knowing where his mark on defense actually is on the court.

    Given all of that Jones is still a plus player for the Rockets. A good spot starter and a good player off of the bench. Sorry if I was to harsh on my defensive evaluation.

    as long as hes not guarding bigger pfs he's not bad. plz oh plz dmo pan the eff out for us. give the league a nice surprise by beasting your fellow pfs, big or small, you dont care.
