Well if Zach Randolph had a better attitude then he would be a very good PF. So if Blake Griffin has good work ethic and an good attitude he should be very good.

McGee welcomes Griffin to the NBA at the 1:20 mark :)

He is a very skilled big man.

    Best scenario: Chris Webber, KG

    Worst scenario: Al Jefferson

I think there is a worst scenario than Al Jefferson.

Lofty expectations IMO, I'd say best case scenario would be Al Jefferson.

Blake is going to be an all-star by his sophomore year. It is so hard to find a guy that size who can move that well and if he perfects his jumper we are talking about a top 5 guy in the NBA. An intriguing talent to watch develop this year for sure.

Your handle is so unfortunate, in terms of bolstering peoples' opinion of your analysis. ;)

I'm not going to say top 5 just yet, but from what I've seen, his ability is sick. He's going to be really, really good.

Agreed. Jefferson averaged 23 and 11 last year. He just happens to play for a small-market team, so he gets absolutely no coverage.

Too bad C-Bud will get ROY, because Griffin probably will deserve it. ;)

I don't see him beating Duncan, Nowitzki, Gasol, Stoudemire, Boozer, Durant for an all-star spot. He doesn't have their size and domination.

I forgot to mention his knee surgery too. I hope his knees will hold up in an 82 game schedule with only 1-2 days rest between games. :(

I don't really trust the Clippers medical and training staff. I am sure El Cheapo Sterling pays them the cheapest salary out of all the owners.

I was pretty skeptical of this guy as the #1 overall just because I didn't think he was worth that high of a pick but after what I've read and seen of him I think he has a chance to be very good. That being said he's gonna really be held back by the fact that the West has A LOT of good 4's he has to compete against. That and he plays for the clippers, the Oakland Raiders of the NBA.

He was on the Boston Celtics, before he came to the Timberwolves. The only other markets comparable in size are Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago. If he couldn't get coverage from his time at the Celtics, he ain't ever gonna get coverage.

I'd say he tops out as a Boozer type player who tries on defense.
