If you transport Kareem to this time period, then you have to assume he would be eating the same food, training the same way as today's athletes.

you time traveler haters realize that Kareem played for 20 years right?
and he played 80 games when he was 40.

On top of that he was fighting Bruce Lee.

Kareem taught Chuck Norris how to play basketball

He would be a Mutombo-like presence on defense and the boards, and he'd win multiple scoring titles. No question.

He'd dominate every big man that came in his way. Imagine Hakeem's magical year, except lasting his whole career.

They'd have to surrond him with decent perimeter defenders, but he'd dominate Howard, Amar'e, Bogut, Bynum etc.

His all-time scoring record may never be broken.

For one thing Jabbar was 7'2" and could create more space than anybody starting in today's game. For another thing making any hook shot at that distance is tricky and requires fantastic touch.

Well, the thing is, defense was not played as hard back then (according to Dave Cowens who guarded Kareem/Wilt)

Also he would guard them every night when he was 6'8". He said you just weren't physical like today in the post.

Then using that logic, he also would have grown up playing against a much weaker group of big men, and so he wouldn't have become the same player he was. Maybe he would have been a lot more like Dwight Howard in that case.
