harden hasnt been in his prime since 2020.. but when he was leading the rockets to the playoffs it was not his fault that the nba was backing the warriors with corruption. Andrew Bogut admitted that the refs would let the warriors get away with murder, and he stated when he ended his career on the dallas mavericks the same fouls that he got away with in golden state landed him on the bench with 4 fouls in the first half. That also explains why Draymond seems to have a longer leash with the refs as well. The warriors since adam silver has been commishner( 2014) have simply been playing by a different set of rules than the rest of the league, and the only reason they suck now is because adam silver implented those luxury tax spending penalites for owners overspending. So now the warriors cant just overspend on talent anymore.. its why Bob Myers left shortly after that rule was put into place

On a second thought this is why i love the mlb, because even with how hated the houston astros are universaly by mlb fans the mlb has integrity and will not cheat the astros or rob their players of awards they deserve. Even in the nfl you could say that lamar jackson in some ways is similar to james harden, but the nfl has integrity and wont hold lamar jacksons playoff struggles againist his brillance in the regular season. The NBA is just corrupt with borderline wwe like storylines and narratives, tim donaguy came out said years ago that the nba would give the refs orders before playoff games to dictate which players got calls and which players would get cheated. Players like rasheed wallace and allen iverson were two of the players donagy mentioned were targeted by david stern

Bro nobody takes the NBA seriously as a league. Its why even this past season caitlin clark was beating nba games by herself. And deion sanders and colorado were drawing bigger games head to head next to curry vs lebron playing in the preseason

just look at this, would a ref with records like this for two of the most winningest players in the history of the NBA not be investigated if this was the NFL, MLB, or NHL

Pete Rose was blackballed and banned from baseball for sport fixing/betting.. thats what a league with integrity does to its cheaters.. even keeping bonds, and sosa out of the HOF.. bonds in particular would be the equivlent of a lebron in the NBA. On the other hand what does the NBA do with Scott Foster, "oh lets have him ref the rockets vs warrios game 7 of the wcf" lol.. all you can do is laugh. I still watch the NBA because i like seeing great players do great things, but i dont care about the results in the playoffs.. its all controlled and the outcomes are pretty much determined by the league. Just like their NBA "Draft Lottery" lol. Wemby knew he was gonna be a spur like a month before the draft( i wish i could find that video.. i think its deleted now).,. oops found it

Well, Klay scored 35 points in 28 minutes right after he had become the 6th man.

Warriors fans starting to believe again, but they're in for a rude awakening. The team, even when healthy, loves to give up leads. Like, they are so good at giving up leads that it's hard to fathom.

    And heh, loving it.

If the Rockets were a few games closer in the standings, bumping into the Playin would look doable.

If Curry is out for an extended period, the Rockets still might be able to get into the Playin

I just don't see it, but I'd love for that to happen... Rox bumping the Warriors in the last week of the season, and Silver having a nervous breakdown. :D

I agree that it is quite the longshot since Curry might not miss that many games.

Overall, the future does look promising even though some (many) say that Memphis will come back stronger next season and pass Houston in the standings. What is left out of the conversation is that even though Curry and LeBron have been relatively healthy this season compared to recent seasons, Golden State and the Lakers aren't that far ahead in the standings. Yes, there was a reduced schedule in the Covid era.

So there is reason to be optimistic about the Rockets being at least to the Playin level in the near future.

Bay Area radio saying Curry misses 10 days, about 5 games. Things could really tighten up if the Rox could string a few together.
Look at this -- I can't believe you've got me slightly hopeful now. SMH.

I know Curry didn't play, but wow. Warriors just lost at home to a Wembanyama-less Spurs. The worst team in the west.

Might be more embarrassing than losing to the Celtics by 50.

If I am Adam Silver, I would already be concerned about the Golden State situation.

Not expecting Curry to be on the Road Trip next week. Expecting him back for the Home Game against Memphis. Even if he is able to play against the Knicks, Golden State won't be a huge favorite. Maybe the Lakers and/or New Orleans will be resting key players at the end of the season, but we won't know that until April.

Of course the Rockets will need to do their part and win, but I think they will have an opportunity.
