Judging by that Mo really was a fat arse but I think that we did not make a mistake in signing him. He will redeem himself this year trust me.

Has anyone actually seen him and knows that he really did get fat? I'm skeptical that this is nothing but rumor.

According to Jonathen Feigan (sp?) Maurice is down to 290 and is working out superhard.

Notice how in the article it said that Mo has been cleared to run and workout. That must mean he hasnt been able to previously. I think most players would gain weight if they were unable to engage in full workouts. MoTay is a solid player. I cant believe people actually start talking trash about a player who wasnt even able to play.

He still needs to lose a lot of weight, down to like 245-250 lbs,but he might be able to it now that he has been cleared to run and workout.

no matter what anybody says, losing or even maintaining weight is extremely difficult when you cannot pound a treadmill, the pavement or a stairclimber for that matter. The ole, upper body workout gig just does not cut it to keep off or lose weight. i tore my acl and gained 25 pounds until i was cleared for "real" aerobic activity!

His playing weight was around 260 lbs. and nobody was b****ing about that back then. Back then it was his rebounding. Once he gets down to 260 lbs, I'm sure it'll be rebounding again that's the problem.
