Only 8 teams have won championships in the 23 years since he was fired (by our current owner). Zero of those 8 teams were the portland trailblazers. I wonder why the other 21 teams haven't hired him.

That's what he did for the Rockets. When the 86 Team that went to the finals got dismantled, he rebuilt the Team around Hakeem and got him kenny smith, vernon maxwell, robert horry, cassell (i believe as well) and fired Don Chaney for this dude named Rudy T. without these events there would NOT be Clutch City, therefore this bbs right here would not exist.
I'm not a huge NFL fan, but yes, I'm familiar. He helped a billionaire spend his money. He helped operations at a university. He left portland to be fixed, he left UT to be fixed. What does that have to do with putting together a championship NBA team? be real. les fired him, with reason. he's not going to rehire him.
he already did put together a championship team. maybe you don't read anything I posted. no he didn't help a billionaire spend his money, he had to lobby the NFL to allow Houston to get another team. you realize there were other cities who wanted an NFL franchise right? the big problem with Portland is that Brandon Roy became injury prone that ruined his career. He drafted LaMarcus Aldridge, you know who he is right? Do you even know what happened at Texas? He pissed off a bunch of donors and employees. His actual hiring of Shaka Smart and Charlie Strong were good hires . Though we'll see this year if Strong was the right choice. He came in with a mess to fix. He just burnt bridges. Do you know who Robert Horry is? Do you know Rockets history?
