I'd propose a spelling bee, but that's pretty hard to do over a text-based medium. :p

Sounds good to me but it was codell's game. I vote we all just add "My spelling rocks!" to our collective signatures and be done with it.

I say we form a "League of Extraordinary Spellers" and mock others when they dare question our spelling prowess. We'll all get "Spelling Mod" titles, as well as a secret CF.net forum and access to the search function.

    Jeff/Keeley/BrianKagy/DoD, make it happen.

This isn't the YMCA, everyone doesn't win, one by one someone will screw up.

...and like the YMCA, folks who are not on the court usually don't determine the outcome of the game. :D

I say we implement a Spelling Game playoffs. We can seed it by number of kills.

The game will continue, just with a little twist. The pairs will go against each other. Each individual will purposely misspell up to five words per day. It is the job of the other person to find all of the mistakes. We can do this for however long everyone agrees on, one week, two weeks, whatever. At the end of the time, whoever fails to find the most mistakes by their opponent, loses.

It relies heavily on the honor system, and for the poster to keep a log of his or her posts. codell can verify all entries. We can either confine the posts to a particular forum, or make it more fun and let the posts spread into any and all forums.

    Suggestions or comments?

Let's just give up the game. It's probably not fair that I'm participating anyway, since I don't post too often, and never when I'm inebriated.

How about a CF.net election? The remaining people will get to campaign for the title of "Supreme God Emperor of Spelling," chosen by the rest of the BBS in a vote.

Or... we could make things interesting and go straight to sudden death: GRAMMAR! :D
