I remember R2K and possibly someone else getting kicked out due to an apostrophe misuse, but I guess that was due to the fact that apostrophes replace letters in contractions.

I'm not sure that's gramatically incorrect.

"Some religion doesn't..." sounds right while "some religions doesn't" doesn't.

I used religion in the singular, I suppose because I was using the word "religion" to express the concept of worshipping a god. I was attempting not to specify certain religions as a whole as being beneficial, but rather parts of all of them. If I had used religion in the plural form, this would not have expressed the concept that I was attempting to communicate.

I can see it from both sides but if Batman can get away with his ignorant "want's" word then I vote no kill.

 

Here's the question. Can I use the words "organised religion" to describe the concept of the worshipping of a god or gods in an organised fashion?

If I can, then you can substitute "organised worshipping of a god" for "organised religion" in my sentence, and it is correct.

I think this should be a kill. The way that vj23k is using the word, it should be "reins". If so then I'm up to 2 kills. Whoohoo.
