Seriously, all our other power forwards have had 1-2 excellent games and everyone makes a similar thread.
Can someone frikkin explain why someone this good is playing his only 12th game in April? ****, he's damn good. He's definitely better than T-Rob right now. He knows how to box out (very important prerequisite to rebounding), he knows how to rebound, he can read defenses, he is not exactly a headcase, looks like a humble nice kid who just wants to play.
Another knee jerk thread. Didn't we have a similar titled thread when Donuts had his little run as our "PF of the FUTURE!!!" ?
It's a knee jerk but I just wanted to see the guy get some minutes already. There's no excuse not to give him some time when the other PFs are also young and learning.
Even though this is knee jerk, I (and many others here) have been big fans of TJones since the preseason. Happy to see him on the court in minutes that matter.
He most certainly is. The kid improved in leaps and bounds in his sophomore season at UK. He's only going to get better. Better college player than T-Rob.
And Dmo and Trob can. Plus everything I've seen on TJones is he has a mid range jumpshot. But everyone is right, time will tell. I was happy DMo got a shot but he never showed what TJones has showed tonight. TRob has energy but he is just not ready for full time action and Smith just isn't a power forward and those 2 good games are only decieving everyone. And wtf's up with all this knee jerk posts. Half the people on this thread saw what I saw. You didn't hear me say this about Smith after his first great game. Maybe it's a 1 game fluke but as someone else said he has the tools. He needs to learn defensive rotations better but so does every one else. For me TJones has earned a lot more minutes.
yea it's his first game with real significant minutes, but TJones > TRob at this point, which isn't surprising as Terrance has been in the system all year
