If anyone is interested in getting a free legitimate license plate with a Houston Rockets logo on it, send me an email at:

    ekk1288 at gmail dot com

I got a promo code when the Houston Rockets facebook page posted about it a few weeks ago. The license plate is valid for 1 year. I don't feel like swapping around license plates just for 1 year but if anyone is interested, shoot me an email! $55 value

This is what they look like:

Repped. I just got the email and it says that the code is for a background only plate. Does that mean the code can be used for other plates other than the rockets plate? Not that I don't want the rockets plate...but some of the other ones sure are nice.

I would assume you can go back to your regular plates after your year is up, just have to go to the tax office to pick it up again.

looks like its just for a Rockets plate

was on the bottom of the email, but not sure if they care when you give them the code over the phone

I got one last year for my birthday, my sister got a LivingSocial deal, it was like $29 for a year for the plate. Mine is good till Nov this year, hopefully I can use the code and just extend it.

I'm having trouble with the code that it generated for me. It says it is expired or not valid when I do it online for the Rockets plate

I'm going to call and see if I can do it that way.
