OP, This is the worst fan thread ever. How do you even consider yourself a fan? Stop thinking about tomorrow and enjoy what you got today... Best ROX team in years. I don't even remember the last time we were a 2 seed this far in the game. Go get some therapy man before they take away your posting privileges. Thanks. #Roxsolid
I call it THE DREAM CURSE! After giving us our first 2 championships, mgmt. questioned Hakeem's contention he was injured... and ultimately traded him to Toronto... disrespecting the man, the myth the legend...
op forgot jones injured for 3months after just 4 games. comes back and gets another freak injury thats keeping him out indefinitely. dmo injured at the end of the season for at least 2 weeks. harden being 90% of the offense with all these injuries wont do good for his health. brewer's skinny twig limbs spiraling around the basket makes me cringe. its too much, wtf is the deal with staying relatively healthy? ****in pisses me off dont even wanna watch the games
Nick Johnson is really ripped with muscles while playing the passing lanes. Prigioni is on point as well. Only weak link @ PG will be Terry...
Pat Beverly does not belong on that list. Losing Rudy T in after 77 really hurt. Ralph Sampson after the 86 season with all his knees problems really hurt. Losing Otis Thorpe in either 91 or 92 to Kidney issues was a real let down. Losing Mario Elie in 87, who was in many ways the heart of the team really hurt. Mario was never the same after he got undercut. Having a healthy Barkley would have really helped in 99 and may have been a difference maker in the team advancing in the payoffs. All of these guys played important parts on their teams. Yao Ming, Tracy McGrady, and Dwight have already been mentioned. While I appreciate the contributions Pat has made to the team, it is hard to say he is on the same level as any of the guys above. Injuries happen. Making it to the finals is equally about skill and team chemistry as it is about everyone on the team being healthy. The Celtics would have won a lot more Championships in the 80's with a healthy Bird. The kings teams in the early 2000s could have been a dynasty with a healthy Chris Webber. Who can forget about the Suns teams with Nash and Amare Stoudemire from just a few years ago.
What are the chances Vujevic or Oladipo plays for the Rockets in like 2020 and suffers a knee injury.
well, we should have paid him and let him retire a rocket. we wouldn't match what he gave us, especially in the steve francis era.
yes we will and that's why we get VETERAN PLAYERS like Jason Terry who have been there before. Last year was more like fish out of water for some of our guards.
fyi people outside Hou always consider the Rox as the beneficiary of MJ's generosity when he opted to play baseball for 2 years
It's the "Ketchup & Mustard Curse". The Basketball Gods were angered when Les changed our colors after winning back to back championships. Fix it, Les!
