DAMN i hope we dont lose to LA . Dwight needs to go ham cause kobe sure is looking for it. beverly needs to lock lin up also
I don't know what half an extra half hour would do, but it may be because Rockets play in Denver at 9:30 the night before. That game is also on ESPN so could be delayed a few extra minutes. NOLA has the day before off and I don't see any events at TC that would cause a delay.
Well, it's a fact. It's well-known that the league has some vendetta against us. So what if I'm complaining, it's not like I'm not saying anything that isn't true.
I don't think it's a vendetta. It's just that the Rockets aren't one of the most popular teams. But they are a really good team with two star players. So they are an intriguing team. And they want the match-up with the Rockets vs. another good team. So they want the nationally televised game to be in the city with the big market... like Los Angeles.
The NBA is so stupid with these national tv games, its not even funny. Not one Twolves - Cavs game? Clippers, Heat, Lakers, Knicks getting so many appearances really? Not even one of the 4 meetings between Hornets and Pacers? Hornets comeback to NBA, only 1 home game in april on ESPN, really?? Nuggets so many games? No love for Jabari? No Wiggins vs. Jabari? No love for Noel?
None of those are interesting games. Why would anybody care about a T-Wolves vs. Cavs game when the T-Wolves are going to be awful? Why would anybody care about the Hornets (Bobcats) vs. Pacers? Because of Lance Stephenson? It's not like he's a star player and he left in free agency. There isn't an intriguing story there. Jabarri is on the Bucks. Enough said. Why would anybody care about Noel? He hasn't built any kind of name yet. Plus he's on the Sixers.
Also not even one vs. Dallas on national tv. I am pretty sure everybody knows the Chandler Parsons story right now...

The first week of March will be rough. 5 games in 7 nights. Mar 1 - vs Cavs Mar 3 - @ Hawks Mar 4 - vs Grizz Mar 6 - vs Pistons Mar 7 - @ Nuggets
I notice that due to the extended All-Star break, there are much fewer times where the Rockets have two or more days off. Games are gonna come very quickly this year.
Everyone done crying? Boo boo bee boo we don't get a Christmas game boo boo bee boo Who cares... We have 25 nationally televised games right? That's good and better than 3/4th's of the league. Be appreciative.
Saw this in realgm. Here are the number of non-NBATV national games on the schedule for every NBA team: Atlanta Hawks: 2 Boston Celtics: 1 Brooklyn Nets: 4 Charlotte Hornets: 2 Chicago Bulls: 25 Cleveland Cavaliers: 25 Dallas Mavericks: 11 Denver Nuggets: 5 Detroit Pistons: 2 Golden State Warriors: 19 Houston Rockets: 17 Indiana Pacers: 5 Los Angeles Clippers: 23 Los Angeles Lakers: 20 Memphis Grizzlies: 1 Miami Heat: 16 Milwaukee Bucks: 0 Minnesota Timberwolves: 2 New Orleans Pelicans: 2 New York Knicks: 16 Oklahoma City Thunder: 25 Orlando Magic: 0 Philadelphia 76ers: 0 Phoenix Suns: 10 Portland Trail Blazers: 16 Sacramento Kings: 3 San Antonio Spurs: 19 Toronto Raptors: 4 Utah Jazz: 1 Washington Wizards: 10 Good enough for me.
