rivalries are made by the players. i bet barely anyone from the current j*zz or rockets even know the history and animosity. Spurs are instate, but there is no rivalry. We haven't played them in the playoffs in a long time. There is no real tension between teh players of each team.
We got humiliated in the first round of the playoffs, and the media loves to beat up on Dwight anyway, and the media has drawn some sort of shroud over us, and we lost Chandler Parsons (soooooo pretty). If our offseason were complete (which I don't think it is; maybe we'll trade for a better PG?), we might have warranted more attention from ABC/BSPN. So we get stuck with the Knicks and the Lakers and their huge markets. SUCH a surprise.
Rivalries are also made by fans. I can tell you with honesty that I have a hard time looking a Jazz fan in the eye
Seems everyone is having a different schedule. This Clippers writer actually believe the Clippers are playing OKC at Xmas. Oh well, just 4 more hours away. Janis Carr @janiscarr 4 minutes ago Clippers are home for the holidays - -most of them anyway. Lakers (Halloween), OKC (Christmas), Knicks (New Year's Eve).

I'm ok with this......considering I live in northern cali I may drive down to so cal and catch the game unless they decide to make a trip to sac or GS right after.
Know we had a bad playoffs but we won the past 2 x-mas games on road, was really looking forward to going to a home game this year, now we're not playing at all
Okay, embarassed. We had no business losing that series. Well, except the other team executed an excellent game-plan, their stars were hot, one of our stars looked like he didn't wanna be there, our third wanna-be star kept missing gimme layups, Jeremy Lin channeled Jordan Farmar on a bad day, and our head coach is still looking for a clue. OK, back to your regularly-scheduled thread, already in progress.

wonder if we are going to have the home opener on 10/31 or 11/1 vs. the Blazers to pretty much duplicate the opening 3 games of the 07-08 season.... http://www.clutchfans.net/games_box_listings.cfm?BoxSeason=2008
Right away we are put on a back to back on the road, talk about the NBA hating the Rockets. But it only makes a team better.
