It has become the norm now. 2011/12 - 22 back-to-backs, 13 end on the road 2010/11 - 21 back-to-backs, 16 end on the road 2009/10 - 22 back-to-backs, 15 end on the road 2008/09 - 19 back-to-backs, 14 end on the road 2007/08 - 17 back-to-backs, 12 end on the road Hope my counting is correct
I'm surprised they put in the effort to make a schedule this early. We know the schedule won't be played but it's interesting to see that they would get a couple national broadcasting games.
From March to the end of the season, we have a chance to make a nice run. There are not alot of true contenders during that stretch. If we can start off decent and weather the storm during Dec- Jan. We would be in a great position to finish the season strong
It should be fun. I still love watching our team even without the superstar. No major injuries and we should be in the playoff race. Is it just me or just the idea that basketball could start soon is getting me excited.
I was just examining with great scrutiny at our final stretch of Schedule. Then I realised, are we making the playoffs? O.O
lol, our christmas games are against other fantastic scrub teams. oh well. makes the lockout feel better
Wow. That's going to be depressing. I'll say we have a legitimate chance against LA and Memphis. And that's about it.
How do you guys feel about the 7pm start vs 730? I'm already in downtown so it doesn't matter to me. I won't have to wait 90 minutes for tip off, but then I can't get something to eat before the game, so I have to stuff myself with 6 dollar hotdogs, 8 dollar burgers, 10 dollar nachos, and 5 dollar drinks. and yes, i've bought three out of the four at one time, and hammered that.
Something that caught my eye was that the rockets have almost a week between 2 games? You could put another game between them, and avoid more back2back Wed, Feb 22- Philadelphia @ Houston Tue, Feb 28- Toronto @ Houston
If all goes according to the dire news of the lockout taking away most of the upcoming season, it will be Kevin McHale's luck to not to be able to begin with a full preseason under his belt. He will once again be hitting a season on run instead of taking his time to start the season.
