Did Pam Oliver have stint in Houston too? Houston produced some NICE female sportscasters Rocket River yea. . I like me some Pam Oliver too
Hannah wanted Clyde, I bet they would have done it right there in front of everyone, at center court.
Hannah was a DJ on 97 rock for a good while wasn't she? Didn't she do "Storm Saturday Nights" or something like that? That's a good 25 years ago, so maybe I'm mixing memories as fact.
I never listened to 97 Rock... all I remember is the giant fro, looking at the wrong camera, and awkward pauses during sentences on Channel 20.
And all of them happen to be sportscasters now....coincidence? Maybe they had Hannah give 'em...a little referral ?
She looked like that during every postgame interview she did during this time. I noticed it back then as a teenager. She always seemed to look at every NBA player like he was a piece of meat and she was ready to pounce. I don't know if it was intentional or not but it certainly was odd. Maybe that's why I always liked her.
I agree! Five star thread from the Jeffster. I've always been a fan of Hannah and wondered if she have a bit of a crush on ET back in the glory days. I know I had a bit of a crush on her! Just a great read.
Yep. She did a sports report on 101 KLOL. The DJ at the time was Mobey and he always called her Hannah Bell Storm.
Moby autographed my 97 Rock mini-duffle bag from a 'Stros game one night... He was on both stations at one time or another I think. I think I remember Storm was on K101... "Let my people rock!"
NBC had her covering the Rockets side during the 94 WCF and the NBA Finals against the Knicks. Then when the Rockets won game 7, they had her covering the Knicks locker room. I wonder who NBC was pulling for? Hannah has really gotten hotter in her national sports media comeback.
