That's why he died...because you can't really. You end up pulling the trigger instead of clicking the photo button. He was probably dyslexic. At a minimum, he wasn't smart enough to unload the weapon first.
First rule is actually to make sure it's not loaded and there are no rounds in the chamber. Especially before holding it to your head or neck area.... Just dumb.
cause it's cool? Why would anyone take a loaded gun selfie? But absent minded is often. And even gun professional shot themselves sometime.
it's cool to take a photo of yourself with a gun aimed at your head???? REALLY? What else is cool? Stabbing yourself and taking a photo of the blood?
If you "find" a gun...CHECK TO SEE IF IT IS LOADED OR NOT BEFORE POINTING IT AT YOURSELF AND PULLING THE TRIGGER! How can someone not check if it's loaded or not?!? Anyone with a television should know how to check if a gun is loaded or not... This is almost as dumb as the guy who put the firework on his head a few months ago and blew his head off.
I went off the assumption that this person, like others, prefer to have their gun loaded and a round chambered. Not my preference, but some people do. But yeah...the whole pointing it at yourself, is just...I don't want to speak ill of the deceased, but man...I'll reiterate like you did..."just dumb."
