Houston (IAH) to NYC. Should I fly Delta or United?

    My buddy just flew Spirit, they charged extra for bags, don't recline and were two hours late out of Oakland. We were on Southwest on the same trip, our tickets costs more but they shipped the wine home as a checked bag free.

    What upgrades does a silver medallion get? It is rare for a silver to get a first class upgrade...it is rare for golds as well.
