United has non stop to laguardia too, that's a helluva lot easier. That's what I always like at least

United all the way. Delta is trash, I loathe them.

United miles are a lot more valuable than Delta miles, for what it's worth.

Delta flies 24 year old MD80S. I value my life, so no thanks.

When was the last time a Delta flight crashed?

Same here. That was the last decent one of the large carriers and didn't have expiring miles if I recall that right.

Who cares about crashing? I'm talking about metal fatigue, explosive decompression and getting sucked out at 30,000 ft. Not a good way to go, IMO.

One positive about Delta... they offer cookies as the snack. Wish I could find them in stores...

I am 6'5" so I would pick whichever one has the most legroom. I about had a panic attack on a flight home (6 hour delay, 2 hours were on the tarmac) because I felt so cramped. I only feel claustrophobic on planes, seatguru.com is a lifesaver. I can deal with some cranky employees and crappy snacks but I can't handle narrow seats and no legroom.

I have a ton of drink coupons from Continental that United refuses to honor.

i forget which, but a few years ago i stumbled across them at cvs or walgreens. iirc, they might have been in the candy aisle.

always non-stop. eliminate all the chances to get stuck on the tarmac you can.
I'm pretty tolerant about the conditions of flying 7 miles up at 500 mph in an aluminum tube, just doing it at all is miraculous. But an hour just sitting on the ground is hell.

    I googled them:

Looks like Walmart might carry them at select stores. On my way...

Is it true they make you pay to use the bathroom?

I know you have to pay about $40 for a carry-on.

Looks like I am going Delta.

    Delta
    • WiFi
    • Cookies? lol
    • Also non-stop
    • My flight isn't on an MD80 :p

    United.
    • No WiFi
    • No cookies :) Not that it matters
    • Guaranteed rude ass employees and busier flight
    • DirecTV onboard is the only pro I see at the moment and the fact they have a nicer terminal at IAH
