Whole bench was put together in two months and we get our pick and the Knicks 2nd. Pretty damn impressive
Once Howard gets back, we're going to have a big man rotation of him, Motiejunas, Smoove and TJ. I don't know about y'all but that is VERY good. You can stagger the time DMO and Howard are on the floor to ensure you always have a seven footer in the paint. McDaniels is an interesting case. From what I understand, he's an athletic wing brimming with potential. Good effort on defense. With Brewer backing up Ariza, does McDaniels take over as Harden's backup? Priggy is a known pure point and will no doubt streamline our playmaking. I know he's a pest on defense but I have my doubts of him being able to keep up with anyone under 30. He's a sniper from 3. I'm curious to see if Terry still gets burn or if he is replaced by Priggy and/or KJ in the rotation.

I said it in another thread, and I'll say it here. I'm seriously STOKED about how deep we are as a team now. The biggest, most under-appreciated thing about this entire season is how Morey has gone from having one of the worst benches in NBA history (ok ok, I'll slow down) to possibly the BEST bench in the league right now. If you don't think that's going to start paying dividends in the final 30 games of the season, then you aren't paying attention. The Rockets have closed out most seasons in recent memory with a fizzle due to being tired. That won't happen this year. We've got a legitimate back-up at every single position (minus a defensive enforcer in the paint) on the court, and that's going to go a LONG way in securing home court down the stretch. I can't wait for the season to start back up again.
