You’re talking about a 1 game sample size. If Chris Paul plays better early in the series the Rockets have a significantly increased chance of winning the series. It doesn’t guarantee them anything but just because they lost the game he played well in doesn’t equal they lose every game he plays well in.

By this logic, the Warriors only lost to the Rockets when Kevin Durant played. Probably should punt that guy.

i mean it doesn't really matter. if you can't capitalize on a opportunity, hard to really say otherwise.

and no, they beat the rockets with him and without him. that pretty much tells you the rockets just weren't good enough as is.

 

I think he's going to slowly morph into Dallas Jason Kidd. aka winning role player who does everything decently, but isn't really a featured star anymore so his main job is to make things easier for the real star of the team (Harden/Nowitzki)

It also means Harden is going to be depended on more than ever.
