We HAVENT lost parsons yet......i'm sure the rockets want to go all in and match him, but obviously want to add some more talent, so that we don't end up with the same team from last season.

We went from Melo to Bosh to Anderson.

I am going to be doom and gloom with this post, but we aren't winning a championship with that roster

This is why Ryan Anderson would be a good addition to this team.

*IF* healthy this would be a great addition. We are losing Asik either way, an effective Anderson for Asik swap would make me happy. Dude is only 26, plays great with Dwight, is a perfect stretch 4 for us. And we could keep Jones. And Ilyasova's game really suffered last season, so I'd do it.

    But only if he's healthy...

No, it's not. It's time to put the finishing pieces on this young core, and go to war. How many times do you need to see stars jilt Houston to not learn this.

I posted this last week in the random trade thread, seems relevant now, obviously no Lin in this situation. Maybe we find a way to take on Gerald Wallace's crazy contract to make it appealing for them.

Who cares? Anderson does not make this team a contender. We are doomed.

I think Anderson would help the team, but i have to agree it wouldnt make them legitimate contenders (top 4 team in the league or top 2 in Conference).

Furthermore despite the Rockets interest, New Orleans GM have stated on more than a couple occasion, they were not interested in trading Anderson.

Anderson is underrated. The beauty of trading Anderson is that we'll still have the cap to upgrade the roster.
You never know, perhaps it's better to sign a few underrated players.

I know Anderson is a let down from Bosh but he is a very good fit with the Rockets and is a massive offensive upgrade and even a defensive upgrade over last years PF situation.

A banged up player, coming off of surgery who doesn't play defense?

If he comes on the cheap. Maybe.

This is what I have been saying. Losing Bosh is a good thing. No one wants a complimentary piece getting max salary. Dwight is alpha on defense, Harden is alpha on offense, Bosh???
