I would’ve expected Russ to be the trap buster TBH. I can’t recall, but maybe Denver was sending another man (who was not guarding Russ) to harden late in the clock. Great strategy and execution by Denver, props. I expect Coach to digest the film and for the team to be well prepared next time.
No, they just need to crowd the paint and then put their best perimeter guy on Harden. Nobody else really will hit wide open 3's so you can just let them shoot them. If its Russ shooting a 3 your defense should be credited for forcing a turn over.
