Houston main target this coming trade deadline would still be Pau Gasol. Why? Because Daryl Morey said so. Sure, we will try to pry Dwight from Orlando but you and i know it's a pipe dream scenario.

So to make acquiring Pau possible while having to keep Lowry, here's what could transpire on march 15th...

Rockets acquire: Pau Gasol (Aside from Dwight, Morey would be more than happy adding a legit all star 7 footer to fix our frontline woes)

Timberwolves receive: Kevin Martin (This up and coming young team lacks one thing...a legit shooting guard. And who would Adelman love to have manning the 2-spot? Oh yes, his boy K-Mart!)

Lakers get: Derrick Williams, Luis Scola, Goran Dragic (why would LA do this? Wait for it...)

Magic then acquires: Andrew Bynum, Derrick Williams (I don't know if Orlando would get a better offer than these couple of talented bigs)

    Summary:

All these 4 teams will get the players they've been targeting and will all be happy.

Houston will have a starting 5 of Lowry/Lee/Parsons/Gasol/Dalembert... And don't think Morey would be done dealing. Having Gasol and Dalembert alone will solve our interior D and rebounding issues.

LA's starters would be Dragic/Kobe/Barnes/Scola/Dwight.. Scary i know.

Minnesota would have...Rubio/Martin/Beasley/Love/Pekovic.. Adelman is salivating.

Magic loses Dwight but receives 2 good bigs with awesome potential in Bynum and Derrick Williams. Beats having to lose Dwight for nothing right? Brook Lopez? Please.

Fillers could be added to the deal to make this trade work of course. Now, before some of you comment that this this be inthe random trades thread, give it a chance to be discussed since this deal actually makes so much sense compared to stupid random deals we just throw out there.

Now tell me, does this deal make sense or what? Wouldn't be surprised if this actually happens come trade deadline.
