It's a simple rule to follow. If you have face/neck fat, you are probably past being thick. Love handles...probably past being thick...arm fat...not thick... So yeah any flabby stuff you go past the 'thick' and into the 'chubby' area.
Sigh. Thick has zero to do with tone or being toned. A thick chick can be flabby/have certain not toned body parts. A thick chick has a waist that is smaller than her hips. A thick chick might be fit or not. Fat- hips and waists basically the same. Thick-curves(Bria, Maliah Michel, Tocarra-before skinny, Jill Scott fluctuates) Fat-no curves. (Monique, Star Jones prior to her procedure)
Nah, if she got flabs I consider that closer to chubby. Women don't want arm flabs and ****. That's closer to fat than thick. Jill Scott was certainly what I'd consider fat a few times. I don't know how she looks now though.

curves do not equal thick.. why do you keep talking about monique, before her weight loss she was a beast. now the fact that you have maliah and jill scott in the same category shows you need the thick vs fat education.. jill scott (even at her slimmest) was fat/flabby maliah.. thick..
I keep talking about Monique so you and others get an idea of the difference between fat and thick. Monique is(or was fat-since you say before her weight loss) fat. I have no desire to google Monique pictures to confirm if she lost weight but the Monique we all know is fat. Hence my mentioning her. Jill Scott at her slimmest qualifies as thick to most others that love thick girls from my interactions with those people. The fact that I have Jill Scott and Maliah in the same category is proof of how wide ranging the term thick can be. It doesn't mean fat nor does it mean fit. My education re. this topic and my life has been interactive, hands on, in discourse etc. and I have no doubt I'm well versed in it. (As are many other guys as well, I'm sure) Re. Your picture of Jill Scott This pic of Maliah seems to not show such a marked difference I'm sure chicks like them have weight fluctuations constantly but regardless they both fit in the "Thick" category.

Josephnicks I don't think you know what thick is. Thick was a term that was invented as a way for a fat girl to coo about her body type as being sexy regardless.
It seems appropriate that a thread titled "Hottest Black Chick?" would end in a debate about the meaning of "thick." That is all.
