Turnovers were still very high, but when you out rebound a team by 20, that’s impressive. Need that effort the rest of the series, especially when we play with the small lineups. PJ is all heart and grit. Not the most talent, but damn he plays like there is no tomorrow. Need more guys like that. Curry and Thompson were off, but we withstood an unreal effort from Durant. Let’s even this thing up on Monday!
It was actually a brilliant little adjustment the Rockets made on the offensive boards. The Warriors have owned the boards because they always have 4 guys attacking the defensive rebound on the shot. So instead of trying to grab the rebound, the Rockets (mainly Capela and Tucker) just tried to slap it out to a teammate. With 4 guys in the paint, there is nobody left to get the rebound outside. Also, props to both Capela and Tucker for playing their absolute hearts out.
