Clips will still play Lou Will quite a bit and he's a one of the worst defenders in the league.... Also they don't have a rim protector.

Kawhi has never been an elite playmaker...
Spurs didn’t need Kawhi to be as much of a playmaker. He came into the league as a 3-and-D wing, and gradually expanded his offensive game to become a primary scorer. They surrounded him with so many high-level playmakers that he could focus on playing defense and scoring, and everyone else can keep the ball moving and stay involved in the flow of the offense... He's a great iso scorer, but he doesn't see the floor well and isn't much of a creator for his teammates... Kawhi plays on an island by himself. The Raptors get an assist on only 56.2 percent of their field goals when Kawhi is on the floor, which is the lowest rate of any member of their rotation

He can make the basic pass to an open man, but usually when he gets the ball he's looking to get a shot up or pass it back to a ball handler to reset the offense.... He's not a dynamic creator or one that breaks down defenses with his passing or ball handling.

The Raps offense fell apart without Lowry creating shots for his teammates: Their net rating drops from plus-9.8 to minus-2.3... Kawhi’s presence has not had the same effect.

And PG isn't either.

 

3 things.

Clint Capela was underwhelming or downright bad in what is the toughest playoff matchup for him in the league....

His play could've been offset and we could've still won as every game was close, but CP had the worst series of his career offensively... Particularly game 5(worst game of his career)... CP played fantastic defense, but his shot didn't fall and I think guarding Curry and Klay takes some outta him on the other end.

Thirdly.. And if this doesn't happen we probably still win... Igoudala had the best 3pt shooting series of his life... We left him open and played the %s and it cost us big time... After our series other teams did the same and he shot completely terrible... Regressing way back down.

They are absolutely not still the Warriors.. Or as deadly...

They'll make the playoffs, but they're not a top team.... Klay is gonna miss most of the season and their defense is gonna take a step back.. They lost 3 of their top 4 defenders... I've seen plenty of DLo and if they're underrating him, then you're overrating him... Him and Curry will probably be the worst defensive backcourt in the NBA... DLo is not a good defender and although he had a nice season in the East last year.. He compiled those numbers(22/7/4) with almost the 3rd highest usage in the league.... Not gonna be the case in GS.

If and when Klay returns for the playoffs he will be a compromised version of himself in his first season back..... Particularly defensively.
