Thank God Karen is on it.

I'm trying to think of the Russian word that was used for the process of snitching on their fellow communists. There was a centralized figure or entity where they could report misdeeds in every neighborhood. I guess that could be called Twitter now. What I don't get is why Hosseh didn't go up to Cruz and confront him and video him. Shouldn't Hosseh be reported for not doing that?

    about to? before?

that was before.. rule said before not about to..

so before he boarded and during the flight he didn't wear a mask

I'm not condemning him or anything just pointing it out

based on my experience in airports sitting at a gate can be a while. Not sure if that was before he boarded or not. You seemed to have that info.

Not sure what exactly the rules are in each airport, but given that the vast majority of airports are enclosed air-conditioned buildings with people sitting at the same location for a while, it's probably a good idea for everyone to wear a mask.

Cruz alone, with no one wanting to be close to him? I am shocked...... I am assuming the daughter that hates him is out of picture.

No but all those with good manners wearing masks should have come up to him and beat him to the ground and stomped him so next time he wears a mask in a public place.

    info i got is

    1) the rule is "before you board"

    2) there's a picture of him at sitting at a gate

    3) I assume that's before he boards his flight.

    4) why would someone hangout at a gate if he's not waiting to board a flight?

I think it's clear the "before you board" language means don't wait to put the mask on once you get on the plane? It was not an all encompassing indeterminate time period. I'm traveling to Allentown PA later this week. Technically working from home right now is "before I board"

If the gate requires you wear a mask at the gate and those are the rules. I think you guys have em clearly. If not, and there is clearly a clause for eating/drinking we have to all follow the rules.

I'd break muh Freedomz too and wear a mask if it meant being in the same room with the daily Bean Cleaning Dude.

rules/required or not when out in public indoor spaces with lots of people I think it's prudent and courteous to wear a mask

that could be true but this was a rules discussion. And most people try to use the rules as a baseline for what to do. A politician not being courteous (especially one hated as much as this guy is) not really a news story.

he was holding a drink NOT drinking nor eating

and before you board = sitting at the gate before you board

before you board is sure not when you're at home unless you're stupid

"before you board" is up to and including possible hours at a gate but literally holding a drink is not close enough to drinking.

these mask rules are complicated af
