Well, it's on my diploma. I was a bit upset when they changed the name... not really because NTSU went bye-bye but because they really didn't change it that much. I was hoping they'd get rid of the compass point. I really wanted Texas State, but no.

Be glad that they didn't. While Mean Green might not be a great mascot, it beats the heck out of Armadillos.
You know, after being here nearly 8 years, I would have expected to meet someone on this board that I knew before I joined. Beginning to not seem likely.
Our mascot is the Mean Green Eagle, thank you. Scrappy would be very upset to know he was overlooked. Duly noted. I never paid much attention to it I guess.

It was shanna. My girlfriend was notorious for freaking out about me looking at other hot girls or even nudity in movies. Major is a good friend of mine and saw her wrath on more than one occasion. At the time, he was simply a lurker here. One day, there was a "Hot Girls" thread and I made a comment about one of the pictures. Next thing I know, there's a post from someone named "shanna" saying something along the lines of "what the hell are you doing posting in this thread?!?!?!". At first I freaked out thinking she had registered here and actually e-mailed Major about it. That's when he let the cat out of the bag. He started posting more and finally changed monikers after one too many times of being confused for a girl.
