It isn't like a real title contender is offer him a job. You'd take a pay cut to go be third banana on a team that might put up a good fight?

Yea I don't think Millsap is the type of guy that wants to be the alpha if it means being on a mediocre team. Money talks but it also leads you to being on lackluster teams most of the time.

Honestly oh well. It's one thing to take a little less money to be on a top team but not 10-15 million per year less

If Minny can max him out that could be best of both worlds

    KAT
    Millsap
    Wiggins
    Butler
    Teague

    Nice

Again, not a very popular opinion atound here. I lived in Atlanta last year and early part of this year, Millsap is not a good fit here. Bcse of his height, can't play small ball center and he is shooting 3 ball in lower 30s.

I also lived in Atlanta for several years, attended many games and married a Hawks fan. I follow them closely and Millsap is a great fit here. We don't need him to play Center.

the hawks want a S&T. sap will get his max no matter where he goes. here via S&T or phx via FA signing. i believe his age means he wants to win (lean towards rockets) vs continue to be a part of rebuilding efforts (move from atl to phx)

maybe no one wants ryno. but this deal can get done with ego+NG contracts.

In MDA offense it's inevitable a PF to switch to center and has to shoot 3 ball at higher clip than lower 30s. Amare played center at times in Phoenix. Amare made up his lack of outside shooting with unstoppable pick n roll with Nash and out of this world athleticism.

    Windhorst:

    Paul Millsap?

Suns do not have enough to give him the max. Possible S&T if he chooses Phoenix. Phoenix isn't in win-now mode. Denver makes more sense. Other than Houston, where can he go? The west is so loaded. If I'm Boston, I call him up to see if he wants to re-unite with Al Horford.
