It's really astonishing how declined he is from last year's playoffs. All those concerns early in the year when he looked like **** turned out to be valid.

yeah he still is. harden has the ball in his hands almost every play, just like how it was before paul came here. you cant expect paul to come close tohis old numbers with that. if you watch this team, you would know that.

Beverley would disappear on offense, Montrezl Harrell would never get off the bench, Lou Williams would struggle.

Montrezl Harrell 2 years ago was Kenneth Faried on the bench, very Deja Vu.

I hope Harden has realized that CP3 isn't his "Robin" anymore like last year in the playoffs. He cannot defer to Paul when he is getting double teamed. We're gonna have to win or lose this series because of Harden. If that means ball-hogging at the end when things are close, then so be it. I would much rather lose this series with the ball in Harden's hand than in CP3s

Am I the only one who notices Klay completely neutralizing him on offense?

@J.R. is on a rampage bumping old CP3 threads because some dumbass is out here trying to convince people that the Rockets would be better off having CP than Westbrook right now.

J.R.....buddy.....you gotta relax. The GARM is full of nothing but trolls and clowns trying to get a reaction out of people now. It's a shame, but it is what it is.

Overall CP3 is a better player than WB...and he’s going to look good after a full off seasons rest. But as the season drags on and wears him out (maybe an injury or 2), and when he the playoffs come around he’ll be what we remember in this thread...that’s if he’s healthy enough to actually still be playing. The guy gets hurt when you need him the most...we’ve got plenty of regular season wins, we need someone else we can rely on besides Harden in the post season.

Exactly. It was Harden and the rest of team last year during the playoffs. It’s crazy how people forgot how CP3 didn’t play like a star during the playoffs.

Cp3 barely played like a good role player most of last playoffs.

Clutchfans have the memory of a goldfish.

He legit threw one of the games against Golden State I forgot which one. Harden gave him the ball towards the end and he pretty much failed to do anything every single time. Makes me mad thinking about it.

He never actively tried to lose, but you could tell his sulking mood got to him, a la Harden in Game 6 versus the Clippers. That 27% 3pt% in the playoffs last year was mostly on catch and shoot wide open threes. He just couldn't be trusted. You know around then that he would never be a top 2 player on a championship contender ever again.

Westbrook isn't a top 20 player anymore, but he does give you potential. The physical attributes are still there. The numbers won't agree, but the eye test says that we have more hope with him than CP3. It's like Morey says, you have to increase the variance sometimes. Lower lows, but also higher highs.
