A collectable card game that you can play on your computer, is finally entering open beta. Well, they aren't calling it open beta. But, it no longer takes a beta key to play, so anyone can play, so it basically is. For those who don't know, Hex is basically an online trading card game (not just a CCG like Hearthstone, you actually own the cards here). It is extremely similar to Magic, but has some key differences. The resource system works slightly differently, and card states are designed to persist. For example, if you add a buff to a creature, and then the creature gets bounced back into the owners hand, or shuffled back into the deck or sent to the graveyard, it will still have the buff if it is replayed. As of now the game is just PVP but a complete PVE side is coming in the future. As a "beta" stage product, this game can be buggy and the software can be a little clunky(especially compared to hearthstone). Still it's got a lot of potential.
