I disagree with the writer, it's good read about the Spurs. http://www.danshanoff.com/2007/06/spurs-great-dynastyor-greatest-dynasty.html
35-10 2nd quarter? If the Rockets beat the Spurs Tomorrow and the next??? I now it's just regular season but...... Rockets can go to the Western Finals at least. At least....
If the Rockets as a team can overcome them, it will do Harden and his teammates good in the playoffs.
What a wimpy performance by the Thunder, laid down for the Spurs. Now they are all rested for tomorrow. They go all out against us and lay down for the Spurs.
dude. thunder are fighting tooth and nail for the last playoff spot. There's no 'laying down'. Give credit where it's due.
Spurs Big 3 not really that old. Parker: 32 Leonard: 23 Danny Green: 27 Their supporting 3 are the old ones: Duncan: 38 Ginobli: 37 Diaw: 32 The other guys that get playing time with the exception of Matt Bonner are all in their prime or just about to hit their prime.
The Crazy part is that the Spurs are 0.5 games behind Memphis. They can leapfrog from 6th to 3rd seed which would mean a 2nd round face off against the Rockets. And they're still within striking distance of the 2nd seed if the Rockets don't keep their ducks in a row. Who would have believed after the injury filled start to their season that they're now on track to win 55 games? Pop and Co... trolling the NBA since 1999...
Since both Diaw and Parker are 32, either Parker should be one of "the old ones" or Diaw should be one of the "not really that old"s
Yeah I know, but I was just segregating by impact and then listing out ages. The top 3 impact guys are Parker, Leonard, and Green. Diaw's actually not that old, especially when limited to role player minutes.
Who would have believed? Well, a lot of people have warned that one shuold never dismiss the Spurs. This is just another year when people say, "The Spurs are finally done..." and then find out they are right in the mix. But let's see how they do in the playoffs. It is undeniable that they are the hottest team right now (and yes, right at the end of the season as usual), even more so than the Warriors.
