[HELP] How to watch the Rockets while on a cruise?

I don't know how much Rockets watching I'd get away with while on vacation. It's the whole, like, marriage thing. But maybe she'd read something on her Kindle and half-watch the game while I gnash my teeth and pull my hair and scream at the TV. Or maybe she'd actually watch the game: it's the playoffs, after all.

If the Rockets defy the odds and are still playing in four weeks, I'll have to put this to the test when we're on our vacation (albeit with dry land beneath our feet).

 

Think their tvs are based out of Miami. But the games are on TNT and espn. You should be okay. I remember seeing tvs at the bars.

 

You're covered; TNT and TBS in your Stateroom, ESPN only available in the bars...to get you to spend more money on booze.

My phone was pretty useless on the cruise. No service on the ocean and still had to pay the rapacious Wi-Fi charge to do anything.

 

As someone that has been on Carnival boats before:

There is a sports bar on *every* boat. Grab a map. Find the bar. Go to the bar. The bar will have the playoffs on the tv. Watch the tv. Enjoy life.

fwiw, I have never bought a drink at the bar, don't let them pressure you into doing it. You already spent your hard-earned cash to get on the boat, you don't need to spend anymore you don't want to.

if the Breeze has the Funship 2.0 upgrade (with blue iguanna and Guy's Burgers) there is an ESPN sports bar on board.

 

Guy's Burger's was shockingly awesome. Expected chit and got greatness. I had at least 10 Pig Patty's.

 

I think I'm on the same cruise as you, just a week or two later.

I leave May 14th.

the last time i went on a cruise was a couple of years before smart phones (ifen 1) hit the market. those were the days. didn't know anything bout smartphone fasting yet

 

I love cruising, first one was '09 and have been one almost every year since, definitely worth it especially if you can get those 5 day cruises for $200 and 7 day ones for around $400-500

Should be good with the EA Sports bar if they are still sporting those themed Sports Bars

 

Let me tell you the Rox are cruising right now, atm.
