I hope you're all well. Now, I'm not self-important enough to make a long ass post explaining my absence from the board, it looks like y'all carried on pretty normally. However, I need to get something off my chest. Sorry for the communism I had an angry communist phase (yes, at 33). I made some posts here defending China when I was under the impression that the U.S. was responsible for all the world's ills and that China was going to save humanity with their particular brand of Scientific Socialism™. I am now aware that was an incredibly naïve position, and I am embarrassed in retrospect. If anyone was offended, please accept my apologies. I have spent most of the last two years in hiding after deleting my social media and ghosting all my former comrades. So anyways, I do miss having an online community, and I'm happy to see this place hasn't gone the way of most BBSs. In case I start posting again, just know I'm not up Xi's butt anymore. P.S. I owe Fatty an apology, angels very well may exist. Sorry for clowning on you that one time.
Welcome back finalsbound and good to see you at least online again. I think I tangled with you a bit about the PRC on FB. Can’t remember if it was regarding the George Floyd Protests or COVID. Wasn’t offended though but I’m glad you’re engaged in self examination. Something all of us should do more of. Hope everything else is going good for you. Also Fatty got banned again because of me. He made a very offensive comment about someone very important to me who passed away. (Fatty didn’t know him). I didn’t ask for him to be banned but didn’t want to deal with him after that especially since this wasn’t some internet rando but I had met Fatty a few times in person.
