Yes i know there is a thread regarding "ball" but this is why Houston should pursue him. Hedo Turkoglu is 6ft10 and has never ever relied on athleticism his 34 years old. And is clone of Carlos Delfino, Delfino is a catch and shooter and has so athletic ability but is a play maker. Delfino is 6ft5, Hedo has a quick release and a unblockable shot, he can even play as a stretch 4. As he will have Asik and Howard behind him. Now when Hedo played with dwight he was the second best player in the 2009 nba finals on the magic team. He averaged 20 5 5 his not a guy who ball hogs and can be a effective spot up shooter. But he can definitely lead the second unit as a point forward and Dwight Howard loves playing with him, he said his one of the only team-mates that his had a great chemistry with and there pick and roll game is great. As he is on his final year at orlando on 12.4 million the magic are working a buyout which would mean 6mil is guaranteed so he can easily take the veterans minimum. I would do it for the minimum just to make Asik happy. But it means no spots open. Roster full. he is not that player anymore from the video. But stretch 4 is a possibility. Seriously I would take Turkoglu over Casspi any day of the week. He is a better fit in many ways. Unfortunately he is redundant and unless the Rockets are willing to buyout Casspi right away it's just too many foreign white guys on the same team.
