On one side, I miss the the Adelman years where we played with grit and passion without a superstar.

Then on the other hand, know how hard it is to get a superstar here.

Then on the other hand, know how much it sucks to have a ****ing prima-dona diva that kills the team chemistry with his no effort arse.

Then on the other hand, this season has upset me so much that I didnt care to watch games during the season or playoffs.

So Im on the boat of whatever happens, happens. Pull the trigger, dont pull the trigger. Ill still have only one NBA team to root for. Doom/gloom or boom/vroom.

Nope but I'd sign and trade Dwight.

absolutely not. For a young player who has already shown star potential in the league, next year yes.
But for this meh package? nope.
    The best piece is Crowder.
I.T expires in two years (same time as Harden) and pgs whose game is based in speed don't age well anyway, the mid first rounders and the 31st are bleh since noone except the top 2 have star potential, and the 3rd lottery position can end up as low as 6th and even if it's 3 I don't believe Bender or Hield or Dunn have superstar potential.
    This draft is super weak.
If you combine 16+23 usually you get at best to 10 in draft day trades anyway.

And even if you get crowder so what? Crowder is a good role player, but we will not have a superstar anymore, and we will be a very young team with future roleplayer rookies going nowhere.

On the other hand Phoenix , Lakers and Philly have much more interesting assets than the Celtics to trade with.
Booker +4, 1-2 pick +Russell, Noel +1-2 pick are much better packages.

You should do another one asking what people here prefer between:

    BOS: 2016 Nets 1st + 2017 Nets 1st (it's a swap) + 2018 Nets 1st + 2019 Grizzlies 1st (1-8) + Smart

    LAL: 2016 1st + Russell + Randle + future picks...

    PHI: 2016 Sixers 1st pick + 2016/17 (top 3 protected both years, unprotected in 2018) Lakers 1st + 2017 or 2018 Kings 1st pick + one between Okafor/Embiid/Noel

    PHO: Booker + 2016 Wizards 1st (top 9 protected) + 2018 (top 7 protected -> unprotected in 2019) Heat 1st + 2021 Heat 1st (unprotected)

I think these four teams will eventually be in the lead to trade for Harden.

I would just ask for Thomas, 16th and 31st picks.
In other words an allstar pg, possibly Sabonis and another sg/sf.

For creating a thread asking a legitimate question without an agenda? I know it's an unbelievable concept due to some of the other threads that have popped up on this board the past month but it can actually happen.

But if that was TL;DR, nope. If that isn't sufficient I can attempt to use crayons for my next answer?

I'm not sure, but I had to post this video in response to the question.

So, since you made it a poll, does that mean it doesn't have to go in the Stickied Thread that Clutch made for Random Trade Ideas?

Clutch can do whatever he wants with his forum HeyP :) I wanted to see where the starting point lies with this forum if picks are required to move Harden. Right now 1/3 of the forum would take the picks for our All-NBA player

He left it. Harden's prime was from 2013-2015. He got slower and fatter from age 25 to 26.

Stop stating that James Harden is a top 5 player. That is purely a symptom of living in a Houston bubble. NO ONE OUTSIDE OF HOUSTON or Rocket fandom believes Harden was a top 5 player this year. He most likely won't even make any of the All-NBA teams.

I have the benefit of living outside the bubble and I've not met a single NBA fan who believes Harden is a top 5 player. That's the harsh reality. I'm sure many here will attribute that to some conspiratorial smear campaign against Harden because apparently the media has some irrational hatred for him that isn't merited at all.

Why do so many posters here just avoid speaking about the inevitable? Two years from now I guarantee majority of this board is going to WANT to trade Harden away for picks and young players.
